This order is for (10) Crystallized Violas Crystallized in sugar - in purple and yellow, deep purple or purple and white (see photo above) or 1 dozen (12) candied large roses petals in pink, red, yellow or white.(your choice in drop down box.
I shouldn't take the credit for the beauty the good Lord put into these flowers. I am just helping the beauty to last longer and to share it with you. Even after I crystallize them, their wonderful perfume fills my room. They are not grown in toxins and I clean them well before getting to work on them so even thought they are edible flowers, it would be a shame not to save for the next time you are feeling pride in your baked goods or need a favor for a special occasion. Just keep the sugar and container I send them in and they will last a good year if kept out of the sunlight and at room
temperature.
They take days and days to make and dry, even though I have a dehydrator and the shade available will always be shown in the photo. These are shades of blue and lavender. I will ship them to you preserved in raw sugar, each in their own container. You will have to tip it on it's side and gently remove the flower from the sugar, give it a little tap and it's ready to show off at your party, The violas are very sweet tasting are about 3/4 to 1 1/4 inches and they make a beautiful display together on your cake or cupcakes.
If you need some crystallized edible greens, just convo me and I can do that too. I can do herb leaves and they will help authenticate the flowers.
I need a weeks lead time for your order but that allows for problems in availability and your order may arrive sooner

Candies, lollipops made with flowers should not be frozen or refrigerated, however stored in a cool dark room or cupboard. Sunlight will fade their colors after a while. So store in shade.

A Yes they do and they should be refrigerated upon arrival.

I haven't opened the item(s) yet am saving to put on a Viola scented cake (with Viola flavored syrup). I used to make my own candied Violets once upon a time so was pleased to be able to purchase the "made" product and it was sent quick. The picture for the product is somewhat deceiving as candied, or any preserved flower does not retain the brilliance of color shown. Those in the picture are fresh violets, pansy and johnny-jump-ups. Most fade with preservation even under sugar. Still, I am happy with what I purchased. The vendor was fast to ship.
